SII Concatel passes the ISO 27001 audit

SII Concatel has successfully passed the second audit for ISO 27001 update, the main information safety standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization. The focal point of the standard is to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability of companies’ information. The audit team who has audited and approved SII Concatel has been SGS.

What does it mean?

Overcoming the audit for ISO 27001 means that the risks of the Company are properly identified, evaluated and managed, and that the processes, procedures and documentation of Information Security are updated. Furthermore, it demonstrates and reaffirms once again the commitment of SII Concatel with customers' information security.

An Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure. It includes people, processes and IT systems by applying a risk management process. It can help businesses in any sector keep information assets secure. To ensure this, SII Concatel uses the ISO Crunch Tool, a tool that allows the Company to schedule tasks of all team members and locate the risks and improvements we have in our system.

Thus, the Company would like to congratulate the whole team and, in particular, those who have worked, are working and will work on keeping SII Concatel always updated on something as important as Information Security.
