Third quarter financial results

The SII Group reported revenue of €232.2m for the first nine months of fiscal 2014-2015, up 7.7 percent from the previous period in terms of net sales, including organic growth of 3.2 percent.

In France, SII's third quarter had one more operating day than the corresponding period a year ago but business remained sluggish. While sales volumes continued to decline due to negative growth in the sector, revenue seems to have reached a turning point at €49.6m, or 4 percent less than for the third quarter of fiscal 2013-2014, but up 8.8 percent from the second quarter of the current year.

The Group continued its efforts aimed at breaking into new market segments such as energy, finance, the media and distribution, while ensuring that it maintained its position in the sectors where it does most of its business. SII's sales outside France increased by 33.5 percent during the third quarter, to €32.1m (including organic growth of 19.8 percent) and accounted for close to 39 percent of the Group's total revenue.

In Western Europe, the SII Group took advantage of a slight improvements in the economy to sustain its growth (revenue was up 33.2 percent, including 4 percent from existing operations). The Group continued to work on the integration of its recently acquired subsidiary in Germany, while completing the restructuring of its interests there under the SII Deutschland name. In Eastern Europe, revenue increased by 27.9 percent, with all subsidiaries reporting significantly higher sales volumes. In emerging markets, one of the highlights of the third quarter was the completion of the purchase of a subsidiary in Colombia, which became part of the consolidated group of companies on January 1, 2015.

At the close of the third quarter of fiscal 2014-2015, the SII Group confirms its guidance for the year as a whole, namely organic growth and income within the range of the past two fiscal years.
